Brief Description IEEE 802.11ac -further extends 802.11n to nominal peak data rates of 6240.0 Mbps. Like IEEE 802.11a/g/n, IEEE 802.11ac is based on OFDM. Additionally, IEEE 802.11ac uses MIMO technology, up to 160 MHz bandwidth and special coding for increased throughput. The extension towards higher data rates is also known as very high throughput (VHT) mode of 802.11ac. The R&S®SMW-K86 option extends the R&S®SMW-K54 option to support physical layer signal generation in line with the IEEE 802.11ac standard.''
